My Process

You have taken the first step! I'm glad you are here and learning more about how a Professional Organizer can help.

How to get started

Start with a Free Consultation! This 20 minute phone call will allow me to get to know your needs and will allow you to ask questions that I may not have answered here.

I will ask questions that help me understand the following:

What space/s need help?

Who uses each area and for what purpose?

What works and what doesn't?

What are your frustrations/road blocks?

What is your vision of a completed project?

At the point you are ready to move forward, we will set up an in person visit so I can see your home.
We will review my Service Agreement, discuss details, the estimated time your project will take to complete and schedule a start date.

What to expect when working with me

I keep the details of work and communication with my clients confidential.
I am completely non-judgemental. There is never a need to be embarrassed and "no" your situation is most likely not the worst I have seen. I will always be honest.
We will always focus on your goals and the vision of what "finished" is to you.
I follow the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals Code of Ethics.

What working with me looks like

In most cases, work will be done together so you can learn the process and therefore maintain the outcome.
I will ask a lot of questions throughout our sessions to help me understand your needs and to guide you to completion.
The flow of our sessions is set at your pace. Some spaces require more thoughtful decisions, and I understand the need to take the appropriate time to process your feelings behind your belongings. You will find some areas are easier to declutter, downsize and organize.
In many spaces it is good to completely clear out all items. We will sort everything, decide if each item is still of use in your end goal vision and find the right home for everything (staying or going).
I have many resources for donations and include the drop off of one car load per session.
